Recently, Cincinnati’s top boiler repair and installation expert, Smith Hughes Company, won a significant bid for work on JTM Food Group’s new manufacturing and distribution center. Located on the Harrison Campus, JTM Food Group’s new manufacturing plant and distribution center are designed to help the company increase its ability to provide fully cooked menu solutions for thousands of schools, restaurants, military and government organizations, food distributors, and retailers throughout North America.
As part of the built out, Smith Hughes Company handled all installation services of the following systems, including rigging, piping, welding, programming, startup, and operator training.
Part of the success of any industrial building is a powerful generator. Smith Hughes handled the installation of this top-of-the-line machine at JTM Food Group’s facility, which also includes a steam silencer and rental boiler connections, as well as steam, feedwater, and natural gas connections for three future 450HP Vapor Power Ohio Special Steam Generators. This provides the facility with the ability for future growth and production expansion.
A steam boiler is only as reliable as the feedwater system working with it. This is why Smith Hughes installed a vapor power deaerator feed water system at the new facility. This premier system ensures water is pumped optimally to harness the steam power.
Designed with economy in mind, this system removes dissolved minerals, bacteria, particles, and organic impurities from water. Smith Hughes Company installed this system at JTM’s new hub, guaranteeing the highest quality components and materials for reliable operation and exceptional performance.
